St. John Lutheran is proud to partner with the Ocean City Ecumenical Council. It is a faith-based organization founded to gather food, clothing and money for those in need.
This program involves a series of conversations with professionals from various fields including Financial, Legal, Medical and Church related topics that all focus on "end of life" issues.
"Our future is rooted in today."
In November, 2021 we created a new endowment fund to support the mission and ministries of St. John, and Church Council has committed $10,000 to start the St. John "Cedar Fund." How can you help? Well, you'll notice some extra giving envelopes in the pews, and donations with "Cedar Fund" in the memo line will be gratefully accepted.
Please join us for our weekly Fellowship and Faith Session where we engage in great conversation about our faith as Christians. These Zoom meetings are open to all. We may reference the article below.

On Feb. 6 two powerful earthquakes hit Turkey and significantly impacted neighboring Syria. The first was a magnitude 7.8 earthquake in south central Turkey, followed hours later by a magnitude 7.5 quake in the southeastern part of the country. The two quakes devastated Turkey and Syria, collapsing thousands of buildings and damaging infrastructure. Thousands of people have been killed and thousands more have been injured, yet search-and-rescue efforts are only in the early stages. A cold and snowy weather system now moving through the region complicates response efforts.
We offer in-person worship in our sanctuary at 9:30 am each Sunday. For those who prefer a live-stream service, we continue to offer on-line worship. The link can be found at the top of this page.
