St. John Lutheran participated in the 2022 Bishop's Challenge. In addition to a generous donation of support from the congregation, our WELCA women created a quilt square for the Synod Quilt. The quilt represents our commitment to growing in awareness and moving toward action in Christian love. If you look closely at the completed quilt, you will see St. John's square in the upper right hand corner.

Lutheran Disaster Response is accompanying our companions in Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, as well as such ecumenical partners as Lutheran World Federation and Church World Service, in their humanitarian responses to the crisis. These partners provide refugees with immediate support and supplies such as food, blankets, water and hygiene kits.
