Welcome to St. John! We welcome all to our beautiful church just blocks from the beach and boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Parking is available at the church parking lot on Central Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets, and also on the lot of the Ocean City Home Bank, 10th Street and Asbury Avenue. A chair lift is available at the Central Avenue glass door entrance.

Fellowship is offered the first Sunday of each month following the 9:30am Sunday service for refreshments and getting acquainted. Join us in our lobby for some sweet treats after the service.

Our Services

9:30 In-person Service of Communion

St. John Lutheran is now providing in-person as well as virtual services every Sunday. There will be one worship service at 9:30 am. Our service will include music, with hymns sung by the congregation, and anthems by our talented choir along with piano selections. In compliance with CDC guidelines, masks are optional.

Beginning September 17th, a new worship booklet and sung liturgy will be used. Recordings of the songs can be found by clicking the button below. A link to the Worship Booklet can be found on our home page.
